Learning.com and Tinkertags/Gigabryte

So I started this blog in school on a workshop day; all well and good.  Next day at a different school the firewall/filter blocks me.  Arrrrrggghhh.

These tidbits from the last few days:

• Learning.com is a digital curriculum portal with both free and paid resources. Of particular interest is their free digital learning environment, Sky, which looks like a nice alternative to Edmodo for my 4th and 5th grade students.
• Tinkertags, which has not yet launched, has changed its name to Gigabryte - looks like it's going to be a simple, but exciting intro to programming.  Sure would love to get an invite code to try it out a - hint, hint.
